Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Coder, you will:
- Review patient medical records and physician documentation
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Ensure compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
- Work on specialty-based coding (ED, IPD, OPD, etc.)
- Coordinate with QA and auditing teams
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc / B.Sc degree
- CPC Certification (Mandatory)
- Good knowledge of:
- ICD-10-CM Guidelines
- CPT coding concepts
- Medical terminology & anatomy
- Good communication skills
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
